Electrical truck designer Nikola (sure, as in like, Tesla) is throwing down the gauntlet to the auto trade with the announcement of its 600-mile vary EV pickup truck.

In response to the announcement, it’s going to face toe to toe with the likes of GMC’s Hummer EV, and Tesla‘s Cybertruck.

If you happen to hadn’t heard of them, Nikola is an electrical car design agency that has up to now focussed on growing inexperienced semi-articulated haulage vans.

Mad specification

Nikola claims it is going to have a sub-Three second zero to 60 time, will generate 906 horsepower, and 980 ft lbs of torque.  What’s extra, it is going to allegedly have a spread of 600 miles (966 km). Stick that in your tailpipe and smoke it Tesla.
